New to the forum

Postby heartjanerre » Thu May 14, 2015 5:51 am

hello all im new to the forum

My nephew was born with some sort of defect and was diagnoses with cerebral palsy. He is the biggest joy in my life and i want to help him so much. He was happy and joyful but can hardly hold himself up it looks like he is losing the ability to walk and feed himself and just looks very sad now.His doctors have been switching us back and forth to new drugs including recently some Baclofen which has not really helped much and might have made his condition and emotions worse. Our doctors have no answers and so i have started to try to shed some light to see what is going on and see if we can possibly help him.

Hope to learn alot in this user forum.

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like the doctors are just guessing at this point. Were are you located? Is there a Shriners near by? Shriners has a lot of experience in assisting children with disabilities so it wouldn't be a bad idea to look into it.
