Will i think you haven't got the point about mobility. Its not about the cars. But its about the mobility programs which is specialized for CP people. Anyways thanx for your investigation, and sharing. At least we get to know some information about cars and stuffs. And yeah its also true that car or any transporter is also very important for the people effected by CP. Thanx anyway.

Hello -

Most mobility motoring programs offer up to $1,200 rebates for disabled people who purchase a new vehicle. This mobility money can be used towards handcontrols, lowered floor mobility vans, transfer seats, and assistive driving aids. The money usually takes four to six weeks once the application is signed and returned by your local mobility dealer. For more information please search the vehicle manufacture websites.

Chrysler, Ford, GM, Saturn and many other automobile manufacturers offer "Mobility Programs" established to provide rebates to disabled drivers for the installation of adaptive equipment in any new vehicle, whether purchased or leased. Most lifts and carriers are eligible for reimbursement under the terms of the mobility programs as listed below. There are also a wide variety of state and federal programs available to financially assist you with your wheelchair carrier or scooter lift purchase. Please call the numbers as indicated to find out if you qualify for assistance.
