Mom to my miracle

Postby TyAndCheyMommy » Fri Sep 14, 2012 6:39 pm

Hi, my name is Cathy. I am a mom to a wonderful daughter who is 5 and has Cerebral Palsy, as well as an awesome son who is 6 and has aspergers syndrome.

My daughter Cheyenne (5) was born at 28 weeks. She suffered from grade 4 bleeds in her brain. She was in the NICU for many months after her birth. We were told she had Cerebral Palsy within a few days of her birth.
She has been diagnosed with many things including: Spastic quadriplegia CP, displagia, PVL, seizures, feeding tube due to aspiration, and more...

She started kindergarten this year and is doing great!

She is in a wheelchair full time. She has a power wheelchair, push chair, stander, gait trainer, special toilet, special bed, special car seat, random chairs throughout the house she likes, AFOs, hand braces, elbow braces, glasses.

Cheyenne is a really happy kid that loves to talk and to read books!
